BMan1113VR (7822) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 20, 2012
On tap at Blue Palm’s 4th Anniversary. Pours with a hazed brightly golden hued body with a large and lasting white head. Aromas are of passionfruit, grassy, bready, estery. Lightly crackery wheat and white grapes. Flavors are fruity and mildly acidic with an odd sweet grainy note. Just a bit too syrupy to be amazing. Really nice fruit character. Full carbonation, just a bit too sweet.

Cloudy yellow color, white head. Sweet, phenolic, funky scent. Sweet, lime, acidic taste. Sour aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Dogbrick (7586) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 27, 2012
Sample at the Avery Tap Takeover at 4th Street Patio Bar and Grill on 09/26/2012: The beer is a hazy orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit and bready malt. Light-bodied with a tasty passion fruit character and floral and toasted malt notes. The finish is sweet with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

First taste: wtf? Second taste: beer mojito? Third+ taste: yum. Unexpected fruitiness (more from taste than aroma), but after the initial shock it became more and more delicious. Pleasantly lingering taste - unusual and well worth tasting. Probably my favorite of the night. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Brass Tap Trinity. Pours a light golden color with a foamy white head. Lots of fruit in the aroma with subtle hops. It’s nice that it isn’t overly sweet like most fruit beers. Light and refreshing. Not bad for a fruit beer.

On tap at Avery. Pours a slightly-hazed yellow-straw color. Light passion fruit. Quite fruity. Subtle, but absolutely there. Delicious. Super drinkable; had to get a second glass of this one.

My beer buddy and I decided to go to avery for lunch one day and try a few beers. Avery is one of my top 3 favorite Brewers and became my number one after I had the lilikoi kepolo. this beer is so delicious just thinking about it make me drool. The only thing that sadens me about this beer is they don’t bottle it, if the did it would be my go to beer.... Over all my favorite I’d give it a 11 out of 10!

On tap at brewery. Hazy pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Very big floral passion fruit aroma and taste with some bready notes and an acidic citrus finish with flavors of passion fruit and lemon lingering on the very back. Bright lively palate.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2012 Tap @ Avery. Cloudy, cream/gold appearance with a pearl white head. There’s a notable passionfruit/grapefruit/citrus fruity presence in the aroma along with wheat malts, yeast, and a mild tanginess. Fairly citrusy, passionfruit, grapefruit, lemon fruity, yeasty, light wheat malty flavor. This baby was extremely easy drinking and would be perfect to have when mowing the lawn or watching a baseball game. As the MN crew would say, this is way too easy to drink.
