Poured from tap to glass. Hazy straw hue with white head. Aroma is clean wheat, citrus, lemon. Taste is dry sweetness throughout with a tartness in the following. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Overall this is great!

Tap at FWIBF. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is tropical fruit aka passion fruit through and through. Wow. Awesome aroma on a slightly hot day. Taste is not at all beer like with a lot of passion fruit coming through. Slightly meaty fruit flesh taste. Some lemon and slight hop presence. A very nice summer fruit beer. Can it!

Too bad that this isn’t easier to find. This might have become my favorite summer beer. Almost a golden yellow in color, there is a pleasant fruity aroma. Tastes are bold and citrusy. There is a little over 5% alcohol in it, so it goes down easy. The fact that the keg was t

Hazy but bright yellow pour, whitish head. Tart up front, tons of passion fruit, wheat, lemon zest. Really a pretty damn good brew.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2015 Aroma is of strong passion fruit. Not your standard beer aroma, but amazing none the less! Taste is very passion fruit, with a nice tart finish. Slight sweet, but from the passion fruit and very enjoyable. Really an amazing beer. Super different, but great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Multiple pints have been poured and drunk at Avery taptoom. First poured during GABF. Passion fruit is very strong. Very fruity and easy to drink. Almost tastes like I’m eating the fruit directly. I could drink this beer all day long! Let me buy a keg!!!!!

Sitting at the Winking Lizard after a long drive this jumped out as the only place to start. The payoff was a fine sour that met my expectations for the style but is generally not as good as some of the barrel aged stuff coming out of Avery’s cellars. Even so it is worth a sample if you discover it on tap.

Aroma / Appearance - A cloudy golden base looks like watery honey with a thin white head. Pineapples, lemons, and cheesecake smell like a belini in pint form. Without being a saccharine mess it definite leans towards the sweet end of the spectrum.

Flavor / Palate - Tangy sweet pineapple core, mango, and grapefruit are tropical and fresh. The fruity burst of orange and lemon emerge next. Finally the passionfruit takes centerstage in a fruity finish that tastes more like a cocktail at an island resort than anything that most people would think of as beer. This is excellent from start to finish.

On tap at GABF - By the way loved Avery’s setup at the festival. Nice tart wheat, big passionfruit, fruity, tropical. The body of a tripel. Really nothing like I have had. This was killer.

On tap at GABF 2013, had some peach/passion fruit like aroma with similar taste, had some pulp notes.
