Witbeer with Passionfruit

Luscious. Juicy. Tart. And like no other! Adding a tropical island flair to a spicy traditional witbier, Liliko’i Kepolo erupt with monumental passionfruit aroma and acidity along with a sublimely succulent finish.

Pours an opaque bright yellow gold color with white fizzy head. Tartness, lilikoi, wheat, funk, and a little yeast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes very tart and dry. Nice.

Draft at Kiabaca with James 07.22.2015. Grapefruit juice colored opaque pour, washy small white head. Funky/wheaty banana nose and a very sweet palate, light peach or other similar stone fruit. Something on the nose I can’t put my finger on, a funky cheese or something. Will try again.

Pour is a cloudy milky yellow with a large white head. Aroma is pretty much all fruit. Passion fruit or citrus take your pick. Flavor is again fruity but also very tart. Finish is again some tartness on the tongue. Pretty fruity and fresh, almost too fresh. I have not had Avery’s White Rascal in a while but I’m sure this is the base beer with the passion fruit juice added. Pretty refreshing.

Hazy pale golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, wheat, passionfruit. Taste of the same, tart wheat, and sweeter passionfruit in the end.

Can. Cloudy bright yellow. Lightly tart with wheat and a lot of tropical fruit. Pappaya, mango, pineapple, etc. balanced and awesome. Packed with flavor and very complex. Perfect for an island vacation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy yellow orange pour with a rocky white head. Aroma is intensely tropical with some spice in the background. Taste is tropical fruit, citrus zest, wheat, and light spice. Nice tartness. Light body. Great summer beer.

Draft at Row 34 Boston. Hazy bright yellow color, thin lasting head. Aroma is ton fruit juice, lime, star fruit and passion.

The flavor is more fruit juice then actual beer. I guess not a bad thing, it tastes good but other then the aforementioned fruit juice all I get is light traces of wheat. The finish as a light mild tartness, soft carbonation level again makes it feel like juice. This is more like a mimosa rather then a beer and for the price on this draft I have to say it’s over priced. Good but over priced with the crazy amount of juice.

This beer was good, it’s sweet and fruity. It was actually a great compliment to some heavier beers earlier in the evening. Kind of tropical and a great summer, sessionable beer.
