On tap at Avery. Cloudy yellow appearance, thin white head with decent lacing. Floral, fruity aroma reveals some acidity. Crisp and tangy upfront--lots of passionfruit makes this beer start almost like a lambic. Quite sweet too. Other tastes include tart pineapple, pepper, and bready wheat. Lively carbonation. Unique, and drinkable.

I tried this not too long ago, at a beer festival and loved it. So today I’m doing an actual review to share my thoughts. - I’m from a can into a tulip delivers a hazy brew, the hue resembling the meat of a ripe plum. The aroma is light and reminiscent of a combination of pineapple and pomelo; mild, but sweetly tart. You know it will satisfy your sweet tooth, that it will satisfy that craving for a little tiny bit of edge to the taste. - The flavor does not disappoint, delivering exactly what the aroma has promised and more, the body light and refreshing. The carbonation with a little time does not hold up, and that is disappointing, as I have expected a little bit more of a buzz with this beer. It was there at the beginning, and I was hoping it would be there until the end. - Despite the lack of carb, the flavor is enticing and I would gratefully buy more if it were available here. Try it if you can, but be sure to drink it quickly, before the buzz dies out. It’s definitely worth every sip.

(Can, 0.355 l  - canned 4-13-16, at William K Kurvi, 20160722) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, canned bamboo shots and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, mango, pineapple juice, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruit juice and low bitterness. A tropical fruit juice sold as beer. Lacks character.

Juicy and fruity as hell, with the tail of a witbier coming in very slightly in the end. It’s almost like pure fruit juice. Aroma is slightly perfumy from passion fruit and mango/peach. Taste is sweet and fresh from fruits with a very light bitterness - or none at all even. So in conclusion, very tasty fruit drink, nothing wrong there, but is it what I need to satisfy my beer cravings - no!

Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Pours hazy yellow to orange, with a quickly disappearing head. Esters, pineapple and farmhouse nose. Pineapple, unripe peach, passion fruit, cloves, spices, banana flavour. Sour. Some sweetness. Puckering. Medium body. Quite a lot of carbonation.

Draft in a flight at The Casual Pint-Oakley Station. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head that settles into a ring. The passionfruit in here mostly comes off as peach, maybe a bit of apricot, with sweet doughy malts, lime, and light floral zest. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, tart mouthfeel. Tasty.
