Sample at the Avery Tap Takeover at 4th Street Patio Bar and Grill on 09/26/2012: The beer is a hazy orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit and bready malt. Light-bodied with a tasty passion fruit character and floral and toasted malt notes. The finish is sweet with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Great twist on a traditional beer. Nice color and mouthfeel. Aroma and flavors of passion fruit with wheat, spice and another citrus. Easy to drink.

Pours cloudy apricot yellow with a thin beige head, moderate retention. Aromas of passion fruit, orange, lemon, caramel, grass, biscuit. Light body, juicy, gentle carbonation. Mildly sweet, medium puckering sour, light bitter finish. Refreshing and delicious.

On draft. Hazy straw gold pour, with a white head. Holy passion fruit batman! Tons of juicy passion fruit, guava, grapefruit, lemon, wheat, light spice (coriander, grains of paradise), and mildly sour. Refreshing and delicious.

Can. Sweet tropical fruit aroma with wheat malt and some sour notes. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin white head with decent retention and a little lacing. Starts with nice passion fruit and wheat malt flavors. Finishes smooth with slightly tart citrus notes joining in. Drinkable, session able, light summery beer, good stuff.

Really a great balance of sweetness and tartness. Touch of tartness from the yeast but most comes from the passion fruit. Utterly crushable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: fruity (melon, passion fruit), tart, hints of spicy phenols. Appearance: orange-gold, very hazy, short-lived white head. Taste: lots of fruity notes, mango, passion fruit, melon. Slightly tart. Light banana esters, light spicy phenols. Finishes fruity and slightly bitter, with hints of an odd wild yeast character. Very tasty and refreshing.

From a can. Pours a cloudy yellow-maize body and a frothy white head. Not much lacing. Smells of grapefruit and lemons and wheat. Tastes tart and citrusy with a background of a wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz can. Pours extremely hazy dark yellow with a huge frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is lots of sweet tropical fruit (passionfruit I assume) with some wheaty malts.

The flavor is sweet and tart tropical fruits with some wheat malts and a little Belgian yeast. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, tastes like a mild wit with lots of tropical fruit juice. I like it.
