Witbeer with Passionfruit

Luscious. Juicy. Tart. And like no other! Adding a tropical island flair to a spicy traditional witbier, Liliko’i Kepolo erupt with monumental passionfruit aroma and acidity along with a sublimely succulent finish.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2015 Holy shit! Drink this now. Draft at rattle with Brendan and streets. Pours bright hazy orange body with thin white lacing. Aroma is gushing tropical fruits - oranges, peaches, grapefruit, and pineapple. Mouthfeel is extremely refreshing notes of fruit. Some dry tart notes. Unbelievable combination of citrus and tropic fruits. Is this Hi-C? RERATE::: draft at kiabacca with Brendan. Pours a bright orange with white lacing. Aroma is fruit juice and light pineapple and passion fruit. Mouthfeel is juicy with notes of passion fruit, wheat, light grains, additional fruits - pineapple. Nice.

Fun can. Wit bier appearance. Unpleasant aroma. Smells like jalapeño, old socks, boiled peanuts. The beer was just a failure. I kept getting vegetal chilis, raw and under ripe. Lightly sweet, tangy. Wet brown paper bag aftertaste, sloppy mouthfeel. I expect more from Avery. ABC Liquors, Betton.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz can. Hazy, light golden pour, clingy, off-white head. Aroma has some passion fruit accents, a touch of coriander spice. Flavor runs along the same lines as the aroma. Nice tartness with some bubble gum hints in the finish. Nice spritz to the mouthfeel.

A murky yellow color with a white head. Tropical fruit all in the nose. Flavor is sour and sweet with pineapple, coconut, tangerine, grapefeuit. This is a witbeir on crack. Good.

Aroma is spices, wheat and a hint of dank hops/passion fruit. The flavor is passion fruit, spices, fruit/berries, hops, wheat and a mix of tart and mild heat/bitterness in the finish.

A really good wit beer. Sweetness is tropical fruit, lingering acidity. Pours orangish. Fantastic in the summer.

Tasted from can. Pours a super murky orange with little to no head. Aroma is big time tropical fruit, mostly passion fruit. Taste is moderately sweet with some tartness. A little sticky on the mouth. Flavors of passion fruit and other tropical fruits. Some spices. For a fruit beer it's pretty good but overall not my style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can from Breeze Thru. Pale golden orange pour, an interesting color blend - pineapple/orange juice. Big tropical fruit in the nose. A mix of aromas. Taste is of passion fruit, melon, pineapple, maybe mango. Very little malt presence. Body is light to medium, the blend is quite well done and the carbonation is low. Very fruit-juicy. Also very tasty. Finishes sweetly fruity. Very nice! 14.4

12oz can from Crossroads. Pours a cloudy straw color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet tropical citrus, peaches, melon, loads of passion fruit, and some Belgian yeast. Taste mimics the nose with more tart citrus, red grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit pulp, etc. Solid and refreshing!

Can from Bruisin’ Ales. Big tropical fruit aroma. Not really a wit, with all that passion fruit. Tart finish. Light spice notes throughout. Good.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of sour citrus and malt. Cloudy light amber color, off-white head cover that quickly drops to the rim, tiny dots of lace. Taste is semi-sour citrus and light malt that bounces through a fizzy, lightly hopped swallow, then finishes with sweet growing stronger till the end. Kinda like a shandy, but noticeably better.
