On tap at Avery poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of straw, yeast, banana and light spice. Palate was light bofdied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of straw, yeast, banana and a hint of spice with a smooth lingering banana finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy orange pour with white head, aroma had notes of grain, biscuit, slight vanilla, bread, hints of earth, slight banana and clove notes but fairly restrained. Taste is a mix of bread, biscuit, slight spice, hints of banana, slight fruit but restrained, fairly sweet watery finish. Eh.

Sampled on tap at the Avery Taproom on 9/28/2012. This Belgian Golden Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity, yeasty and sweet. A medium bodied Belgian Golden Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. A touch of peaches and apricots. The hops are earthy. Nice carbonation. A touch sweet at the finish, but a very drinkable session ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Hazy dark golden/light copper with a thin foamy white head. Nose is a little hard to decipher and is kinda light, but I get tones of dried apricot skins and effervescent pale malt tones. Flavor is much the same as the nose; kinda light and ’meh’, with dried fruit-skin tones of apricot and banana, with a malty backbone of pale cereal tones with some dry and very mild bitterness. Quite middle-of-the-road.
