4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
How can I Rep a beer that I have never experienced?
How can I legitimately tell my clientele that this is an absolutely Amazing creation, or… the worst and most revolting liquid in the world? Soo.. I had to buy a 6er of New World tonight as an investment!
Pours a menacing coal black body and a pile of khaki foam. There is ridiculous lacing cloaking the beer from the overhead lighting! The aroma and flavor must make up Colorado’s entire stock of malt and hop! It’s freaking HUGE! Bakers Chocolate.. Fresh Coffee grounds.. Toffee malts.. Pumpernickel bread are found but then they are followed up with a seismic blast of hops that take the palate to an entirely different Universe! I’ve NEVER had a porter like this.. the only beer that’s even close, but it’s in an entirely different category of Imperial as far as I’m concerned, is FFF Alpha Klaus.
Notes of Walnut and Almond are not even attempting to hide out… This is entirely too quaffable as far as I’m concerned.. A Ridiculously… Astonishingly Delicious.. Exclusively Delectable treat to my hops deprived palate!!! A fusion of 2 worlds.. IPA and Porter had a passionate night of sexual experimentation… which resulted in the offspring of a New World!
.....And I’m Spent...........aaahhh... A MUST TRY BEER, IMO!

Very dark brown in body with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and honey. Flavor is roasted and very nutty, with bitter coffee and a nice hop presence.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Like Guiness in color-dark mahogany, whose color is only seen when put in front of a light, with a dense tan head. Toasted, bread aroma with chocolate and maybe a little cherry. Strong burnt coffee flavor tempered by a good hop flavor and bitterness. Rich body. Clean finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep reddish brown colour. Berry fruit and burnt malt in the aroma. Roast malt again in the flavour, with chocolate hints. There’s some hop presence and a sour edge on the finish. Rather nice. Bottled, at the Brickskeller, with BuckNaked and Argo0.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorite porters. Very chocolatey. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. Appearence is almost opaque black. Extremely chocolately taste with vanilla, and a slight bit of caramel and sour cherry.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A bit sweeter and more lively than the average Porter, but this is a very good thing. A beer I would love to have again.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
It is very hop healthy.
Pours black with a tan head that laces well. Floral with caramel and roasted malts in the nose. Flavor is very hoppy with burnt malts and chocolate. Creamy and smooth.
You can tell this is dry hopped from the nose and the taste.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours deep brown/ruby with a big, cream, tan head. Aroma of malt, fruit, and chocoff. Tastes malty, with big chocoff, fruit, and a roasty, somewhat rauchy finish. Medium in palate and fairly dense and bold. To me, this is an awesome porter...certainly a repeat buy, and a top 25er.

Rich clear amber/brown with thick head at first. Nice nose of hops, carmel , toffee and chocolate. Heavey weight with lingering bitter/sweet finish. Black tea, carmel, chocolate, cherry and more. Wow this porter has it going on! Nice rich fall weather beer.
