COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

Had this on draught. This one seemed on the sweeter side with not much roast or black malt flavor. Tasted almost like a strong slightly darkened brown ale. There were some chocolate and roast flavor just hard to detect. It threw me off, as it is not like any porter i have had before. Good caramel flavor as well as some hopiness in the finish.

On tap at World of Beer, WPB, pours a dark mahogany brown with a nice mocha head. Nose is malt with very very subtle coffee. Taste is not typical of a porter with the hops and bitterness. Finish is dry with no real lingering qualities. Not impressive ! quaff score 6 / 10

A bit hoppy for a porter, which was good for to offset 6.7% rate. A bit smokie as well.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown with a tannish head. Nose is mocha, peanut and slight citrus. Milky medium body with a tingle. Tastes like Mary Janes; a molasses, peanut butter chewy candy. Also some coffee, citrus peel and prune. Kind of an odd porter.

Bottle pours a deep dark brown w/ a tan head, some lacing, and some sediment. Big aroma is hoppy, nutty, and fully roasted malts. Initial flavor is somewhat sweet with a nice hop and roast bitter finish. Tastes are roasted coffee, molasses, light citrus, and faint pine. It has a Black IPA character w/ a heavier roasted flavor of a Porter. Full bodied, soft carbonation, and a dry finish.
