COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

Dark brown with decent head. not enough malt character. This porter is overwhelmed by hops. I had to mix one with a London Fullers Porter to level out the hops.

On tap at Taco Mac. Deep walnut with mocha head that clings to the glass. Hoppy aroma along with roast and chocolate and some fruit sweetness. Taste is chocolate and roast. The hops eliminate a lot of the sweetness one might otherwise expect. Medium body with creamy consistency. As a lover of hoppy beers, I enjoyed this hopped up porter.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Pours red to brown with a nice beige head, aroma of hops, tangerine and some roasted tones, flavor of malt, hops, tangerine, grapefruit and cocoa, medium bodied

Hops keep malt sweetness in check. This is a big beer with some depth but not exceptionally complex or refined.

Solid porter; I don’t pick up the dry-hopped nature and as such ends up being fairly normal for the style.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Dark brown and a little clear. Coke, hops, chocolate and pine aroma, malty, deep, mildly bitter taste. Full body, malty finish, soft carbonation.

Draft to taster. Looks good; cola with light beige hear that dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells solid; caramel and chocolate malt. Tastes like it smells with some added hoppiness. Nice and smooth on the palate. Good beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Dark brown with a beige head. Roasty and hoppy aroma with a bit of chocolate, light coffee notes and a bit of hops. Roasty flavor with some chocolate, a bit of coffee, and a finish with some hoppy bitterness.

Definitely not a bad brew at all. I don't have any other porter experience at the time to compare this to, but I think I was expecting it to be a thicker beer. The taste was great, but I'm sure there's better out there. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. This is zippy porter with lots of hop bite and alcohol. good with roasted meats.

On tap at World of Beer, WPB, pours a dark mahogany brown with a nice mocha head. Nose is malt with very very subtle coffee. Taste is not typical of a porter with the hops and bitterness. Finish is dry with no real lingering qualities. Not impressive ! quaff score 6 / 10
