Commercial Description:
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

bottle poured a dark brown in color with a nice tan frothy one finger head that pulled back to a ring in the glass. aroma has malt, chocolate, light roasted coffee, and slight sweetness. mouth feel is medium light with flavors of roast, malt, cocoa, and milky chocolate. sips down smoothly with a finish that becomes dry and somewhat bitter. the hops addition in here i personally like although it is not to style.

[Bottle] Pours dark brown with towering tan head that diminishes but does not disappear. Aroma is cocoa, hops, and roasted malt. Taste is a little bitter, then chocolate and roasted malt that borders on charred towards the finish. Medium mouthfeel with a somewhat dry finish. Dry stouts often aren’t my favorite, but this was a pretty enjoyable beer.

(bottle thanks OSLO) Pours black with a huge tan head that sticks around anid leaves nice lacing. Good aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee, and hops all blend well together to create a very strong and pleasant aroma. Taste of roasted malt and dark roasted coffee, really not much else. The finish is really roasty with a bit of hop bitterness and the mouthfeel is medium bordering on full. A pretty solid beer, and maybe a little underrated.

Bottle. Pours a black, opaque body with light brown head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of cocoa, caramel, light roasted malts, sugar, and coffee. Medium bodied, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Flavors of coffee, chocolate, ash, caramel, and maybe a hint of anise and a slight bite of hops. There is an odd sugary sweetness in the finish along with a roasted malt and tar flavors. Aftertaste is dry and ashy.

Pours a dark black with large tan head tat fades quickly. Aroma is of light smoked meat and an almost roasted peanut aroma. Light chocolate also eeks its way into the aroma. Taste is light chocolate, mild coffee and light roasted meat. Medium finish and light carbonation. Nothing to exciting here with this beer.

Pour: Very thick and dark brown with a tan head. Nose: chocolate, toasted, roasted and coffee malt. heavy barley nose, seems there is hints molasses and citrus. Taste: Heavy barley and roasted malt complexes. There was a bit hoppy on the end with a touch of sweetness. Body: Full thick Finish sublte but lasting. Overall: A very good stout but not great.

I thought this was just okay. Nothing really to write home about. To me that was a little too roasty and dry, almost to the point of being burnt. Some licorice and some roasted chocolate and coffee notes, and again with this brewery, you have to add too much hops to everything.
