Commercial Description:
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Feels a little thin, decent flavor. Not really my type of beer.

Bottle at home. Black like tar with a very large light brown head, fine lacings. Aroma moderate/heavy malty (roasted, burnt, licorice) and hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet and bitter. Light/medium body.

Pitch black with a dense grey head. Cocoa, chocolate and roasted malts in the aroma. The flavour is primarily bitter and full of liquorice. Yummi!

Color matches the black label with a very creamy, thick light brown head. Strong roasted aroma, lots of fresh ground coffee filling it out. Texture is a little thin. Nice roasted malty flavor at first. The middle gets a little creamy and settles into a flavorful bitter coffee finish. I’d like to see that creamy middle spread out a little more and bump up the body.

Pours a black with a frothy tall tan head. Chocolate, roast coffee and prunes in the nose. Coffee, cocoa, and molasses with some citric hops. Nice full mouthfeel and lingering finish. Very nice for St Paddy’s Day.

Somewhat disappointing. Pours nearly black with a thick tan head. Nice aroma of sweet chocolate and malt. Palate is a bit thin. The flavor starts smooth and sweet and finishes dry and bitter. I think there’s just a bit too much bitterness at the end. Not one of my favorite stouts.

Big? Roasty? Not really. Way too watery for me, thin and unimpressive. Good stuff going on, just way too little of it. Blackish with an OK head, some roast, some coffee, just too much water. Not a lot going on here.

A sweet chocolate armoa and a dark brown poor. At least 3 fingers of light brown head with lacing that remains throughout. The taste is slightly sweet and finishes with the hint of bitter dark chocolate and hops. A good stout that I would get again.
