Commercial Description:
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

Was a typical stout with the typical flavors but made very well. Nice dark pour with a volupuious tan head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste was the same with a little more maltiness and a bit of burntness. Very smooth brew with a nice clean finish. I’ve had better stouts but this one was still real good. I deffinitely wouldn’t turn one down if it was offered to me.

Poured dark brown, with a cream colored head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate, and roast malts. Flavor is dark chocolate a roasty coffee flavor, some smoke maybe. Finish leaves a bit, almost missed it, bitter and dry. Decent, but not my favorite.

A lot more coffee in the aroma than their porter, the flavor aslso has a bit of coffee, probably from the roastiness. Not a lot finish. Seemed to have a bit of sweetness to me.

Pours a very dark brown with a large frothy light brown head and a ring of lace. The aroma is malty/smokey roasted grain, chocolate, dark coffee and fruity. The flavor is more bitter than most dry stouts and light grain, chocolate and dark malts. Finishes short, bitter and lightly acidic.

The best Avery offering I’ve ever had! Poured black with with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. Some roasted malt flavor with some hops. Finished dry but drinkable.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours pitch black with a semi-lasting and dense light brown head. Aroma is chocolate malty, roasted and light chalky. Roasted malt flavour, quite acidic toi bitter with a vague chocolate smoothness. Mild fruity notes into the finish. Somewhat without balance and too simple roasted flavour to great.

Pours a dark, nearly black color with a great creamy tan head and some nice lacing. Great roasty coffee and hops aromas. Flavor is coffee and chocolate, with a slightly bitter finish. Good stout.
