Commercial Description:
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

Bottle. Black with huge beige head. Hops, coffee, cocoa and caramel in the aroma. Dry and bitter mouthfeel. A little watery. An okay dry stout, but it lacks complexity.

355ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki , American Week 2007). Beautifully rich dark head. Ginger comes over right from the start. Taste is a pleasant combination of bitterness, ginger, and stoutness. Complex, something new in every mouthful.

Bottle. Pours a nice dark brown/black with a tan head. Nice aroma of coffee and cocoa. Taste is full bodied and has a slight bitter finish to it. A wonderful beer.

Black of color with a cloudy beige head. A nice aroma of coffee, chocolate, liqurice and smoke. A flavor of liqurice, smoke and raw liqurice. A creamy and nice dry stout.

I htought this was an excellent dry stout which hit all the right notes. I would like to see this one in more places but alas i live in Florida which is "stout light"

Pours an ashen, near black, with a medium and well retained light brown head. Thick lacing in gobs. No visible carbonation, but something is sustaining the head. Aroma is very roasty and very hoppy, fresh chocolate and light nuts mixed in. Flavor is moderately acidic and quite roasty. Light on the tongue, the palate soon becomes tingly with roast and ample bitterness. Finishes soft and citric, light alcohol finally noticeable. Very easy drinking.

First I just dumped this beer in the pint glass and it came out with a huge frothy head then simmered down leaving a small tan head with heavy lacing. It just coats the glass as you drink it down. Nice roasted malty flavor goes down nice and smooth and isn’t to heavy which leaves room for more. Leaves a slight bitter taste on the back of your tounge but doesn’t stay for very long. Good brew.
