Commercial Description:
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

Bottle. A nice black molasses beer with a thin head. Flavor is average with a bitter cocolate taste. Decent but didnt leave too much of an impression.

Bottle courtesy of shigadeyo. Thanks Craig! Pours a translucent blackish brown with garnet highlights and a thin but lacy tan head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Light body and moderate carbonation. Vanilla and nutty espresso taste. Pine and burnt toast finish.

Pours a cola black with a red tint and a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate with a hint of expresso. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter dark chocolate with hints of malt and faint coffee beans. Not bad, not great.

Bottled. I need to learn to stay away from these dry stouts . . . they just bore me. Having said that, this one was just okay, too burnt, watery, and dry of a finish for me. Sweet name though....

Poured into a pint glass with a nice thick frothy soft tan head with a dark colour. Aroma is of chocolate, malts and hint of coffee. Has a decent lacing and lasting head. Flavour is malty, palate filled with chocolate, hint of fruits and finishing with bitter hops that remains constant on the palate. A very enjoyable dry stout.

pitch black colour, small coffee head....Have been weened away from stouts for a while and this wasn’t really calling me back. Bitter and just bland, but at the same time smooth. Small amounts of burnt rubble and chocolate and some notes of some sweet toffee. Someone salty.

This beer has a no head when poured out and is really dark in color. The flavor is very clocolaty and nutty and has a good after taste with nice creamy taste that slides down your throat.

Pours a beautiful ruby-hued black with a frothy tan head. Smells of burnt coffee, chocolate, toffee. Creamy, milky, but a little thin on the palate. Super-malty, perfectly carbonated, easy drinking stout. Chocolate and woody notes are apparent, too. Nice bitter hops that are dying in the finish. Exellent example of the style.
