Oct 24, 2006 Thanks to the person who sent me this. Pours brown with a tan head. Smells of roasted malt, coffee, some spice. Tastes of coffee and malt.

Aroma af lakrids, kaffe og tørrede frugter.
Smager rigtig meget af engelsk lakrids.
Bitter eftersmag.

Oct 18, 2006 Black, with a late developing head that rises an inch after the pour. Sweet malt aroma. Light and bitter. Very dry. Almost no finish.

Oct 18, 2006 Ok stout. Nothing really special here. Aroma is not really a factor. Small quickly diminishing head. Flavor is the best aspect. Decent common stout flavor with hops and chocolate notes. A bit watery.

Oct 15, 2006 12oz bottle via trade with kenb. Aroma: Coffee grounds, pine, roasted malt, cocoa, smoke, and some bitter orange peel. Appearance: Pours black with small brown highlights when held to the light. Medium tan head was full and foamy with good retention. Good lacing. Flavor: Burnt popcorn, dark roasted coffee, roasted malt, pine and orange. Some nice roasted malt bitterness plays well with the hop bitterness. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Overall: Some people might not like the deep roasted/burnt flavors here, but I thought it was good. Don’t know if I could drink more than one of these, but I’d give it a try.
