Good beer overall. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA Feb 8, 2006 (02.04.06) 12 oz brown bottle purchased from Brickskeller, Washington, DC. Blacked hued stout having a small off-white head. No discernable carbonation. Roasted malt aroma. Medium bodied that starts dry with pronounced burnt malt flavor. Finishes dry with lingering bitterness and burnt malt flavor. Though thin textured and rather mono-dimensional in flavor, this is a decent drinkable dry stout that went well with Brickskeller’s pizza.
