Commercial Description:
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

Bottled. Thanks to gnoff. Near black colour with rich pale beige head. Vanilla ice-cream in aroma with mint and sweet tar and chocolate. Mild smooth mouthfeel, with medium body. There’s milk chocolate, sweet tar and low-medium hoppiness. Tasty beer but really a mish-mash of flavours and not really outspoken, and really low on the toast malts.

bottle poured a translucent reddish black with a large rocky brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa and a bit of citrus. Palate was smooth and dry. Flavors of mocha, roasted malt. and a bit of citrus with a dry somewhat bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a very deep ruby-brown with an average size diminishing creamy tan head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts and a hint of smoke. Dry flavour of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, nuts, some hops and a light roasty/bitter finish. Medium bodied. A very good Porter!

12-oz. bottle. Pours black with a huge frothy dark brown head, mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (molasses, burnt, nutty), light hops (celery), average yeast (leather) with notes of tar and vanilla. Full bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation and a chalky finish. Long duration, light sweetness and acidity, moderate bitterness; heavy roasted malt flavor with tar, molasses and dark chocolate.

Pours a deep brown with some red hints when held to the light. Head was tan and foamy. Did a decent job at sustaining. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa and a bit on the lighter side. Flavor of dark chocolate and coffee. Roasted malts and some light hop bitterness. A bit thin in the mouthfeel.

Deep dark brown color with minimal head. Roasted coffee and nice bitter hoppiness. Not usually a fan of dry stouts but this one I liked.

Bottle. Small tan smooth head that fully diminished, sparse lacing, fine-large sized bubbles, carbonation, opaque, and a dark brown hue. Aroma was roasty, coffee, malty, and some smokiness. Flavor was coffee, smokey, roasty, and malty. Tingly mouthfeel rather than a smooth one for this beer style. Just an average dry stout IMO.

Pours just about pure black save for the dark brown edges. Small brown foamy head. Lovely aroma! Nice roasted malt nose with hints of coffee and milk chocolate. Some nuttiness as well. Just great! Taste is bittersweet with more roasted malt, some smoked wood, and cocoa. The palate is silky smooth and slides down easy. Bit oily as well. The remains are more bitter than expected and dominated by coffee. Finish was kind of a let down compared to the rest. Good beer, though.
