Some beer lovers enjoy a rich, malty brew, while others go more for hoppy beers. Our brewmaster likes both - as evidenced by this rich and caramelly amber ale with the distinct flavor and bouquet of Cascade hops. Reaching the perfect balance of crystal malt sweetness and hop bitterness took plenty of time and effort, making Redpoint the perfect beer for toasting your most recent success.

Clear copper body with medium beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, caramel, some cookie, floral. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some caramel, light toffee. Medium body, light resin, light acidity. Might as well consider this an APA given its hop character. Enjoyable everyday sort of beer.

355ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki , American Week 2007). Wonderful rounded malty brown aroma. Tastewise it’s a bit of an enigma - a strange combination of maltiness and hoppiness with some fruitiness too, and at the very end some rose petals. A bit of an uncoordinated mishmash to sell itself well.
