COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bottle poured into snifter glass. Purchased at Elevated in South Mpls. Mostly golden with a hint of orange. Effervescent. Half finger of white head. Smell is very Belgiany. Floral notes with yeast and some citrus. Taste is heavy alcohol with even a little bit of the back of the throat burn. Hops are there bringing bitterness but also getting a sugary presence. Effervescence seems to carry on even in the aftertaste. More sweet at the end. Very interesting beer. Kind of a blend of a tripel, Belgian pale ale, and champagne.

Big bottle from elevated with commonmac. Dark gold with small white head. Very effervescent appearance. Fruity Belgian smell and spicy. Crisp alcohol and tart apple . Sweet and slightly yeasty. Some sweet spice too. Nice beer.

Had a 2013 release, and it was simply phenominal. Little head, hazy golden-like appearance. Smooth, subtle, and most of all flavoursome to the pallet. Definitely caught up to me QUICK. If you can manage to find one on your local shelves- I highly recommend purchasing it. You will not regret it.

22 oz bottle. Light amber/gold, airy white head. thin lacing. Strong smell of toasted/smoked banana, spice, a bit of peach, and nutty oils. Can sense the alcohol as well. Tastes of banana, buttered toast, a bit of cinnamon. A faint saucy barbeque/smokey taste as well, but that’s probably just me. Pretty well balanced, but feels a bit light for a belgian. Overall pretty good.

Deep gold pour, decent white head, not much lace. Malt, soft fruit, and alcohol on the nose. Bittersweet. Middle is vanilla, apricot and medium roasted malt. Finish is dry and a little boozy.

The aroma is slight chocolate or of vegetables. The appearance is a murky gold with a thin white head. The taste is slight and sweet after taste. Could have been better, but still overall nice.

22 Oz bottle pour at Brouwers. 2007 vintage. Pours a semi cloudy golden orange color with a sweet and spicy apple juice/cider aroma. Sweet and spice flavor as well, with a mellow malt, fruit, and a smooth finish. Awesome stuff.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours good with a off white head. Taste Belgian yeast, sweet, apricots. I thought this was ok. I would not drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy dark amber, frothy beige head cover, swirls of lace. Taste is slightly bittered caramel malt that moves through the palate without incident to a finish that continues the status quo for a long while. Strong, and some alcohol shows as the taste fades, but, still seems one-note. Doesn’t earn the 9% abv.

Nice amber/orange color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of yeast, fruit, floral, some clove, & citrus; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, chewy caramel, molasses, fruit, and spice; Some alcohol at the finish; Slightly cloying - but pretty decent.
