COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

A light brown sugar, bread, and yeastiness on the nose of this light orange pour. A frothy white head and lace. A nice abv warmth, followed by, followed by an almost apricot, and an almost orange. A medium/full bodied beer with decent carbonation.

Tasted as part of the Avery Experience at Brouwer’s. Pours a light honey color with a mid-sized head. Boozy citrus hops on the nose, with some baking spices - almost like a Belgian wit on steroids. Light brown sugar, honey malts, apricot and peach. Slightly floral flavor, but full-bodied. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color, with a slight foamy head. Flavor is mellow ripe fruits, yeasty esters, a bit of pit fruit notes (peach or apricot). Slightly chewy and sweet. Finish is noticeable alcohol burn at the back of the throat. Spicy finish. Pretty solid Belgian strong.

22oz. Bottle: Sweet aroma is very complex. Notes of fruit, blueberry, bubblegum, peach, yeast, and nutmeg. Poured golden in color with a big, creamy, off-white/light yellow head that lasted throughout. Very good lacing. Clear and lightly sparkling. Flavor is heavily sweet and lightly sour but not bitter. Tastes heavily of nutmeg and cinnamon. Also hints of coriander and tart cherry. Medium to full body. Flat to soft carbonation. Finish is long and tart/sour. Finish almost makes you pucker your lips. Overall, interesting. I liked it better than I thought I might

Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast and a little citrus, flavor is belgian yeast, citrus fruit, a touch metallic, and some alcohol. Mouthfeel is little creamy. Nice.
