COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, orange beer with some microfloaties and a small, off-white head. Sweet, syrupy nose, a bit herbal, with peaches in the background. Sugary sweet flavor with a good dash of fruits, some herbal notes and an evident but pleasant alcohol warmth. Full-bodied, sweetish mouthfeel. Lasting finish with sweetness, fruits, some herbs and alcohol. A quite pleasant beer, not impressing, easy drinkable but maybe a bit on the sweet side. (090213)

Pours a nice amber color with a one finger, decently lasting white head. Smells of flowers, clove and spice. Strong alcohol taste up front, but finished with a nice floral hop profile and some bread notes. Nice mouthfeel.

Local bottle. Clear golden amber colour with a small white head and some light lacing. Sweet aroma with a hint of Belgian yeast. Flavour starts out rather sweet then hits a spicey note before landing on a finish that has an odd hoppy and alcohol note. Good but a strange finish.

Reddish gold with yellow highlight, non lasting top, semi-transparent. Smells of caramel, lemon, honey, and spice. Tastes of bread, nuts, caramel, and spices. A beer whose smell matches the taste. Good American Triple.

Bottle. Had a medium golden pour. Sweet malty aroma with a light hop character. More bitterness was noticeable in the flavor which threw me off a little. Had light pepper, fruit, and a medium alcohol bite in the finish. Not bad but confusing.

Pours a nice gold color with no head. Taste is odd. There is a strange hoppiness to this one that I was not expecting. It’s certainly not a bad beer, but - all the same - I don’t see myself drinking this one again. Just not my cup of tea.

From a bottle pours a orange / gold. Lightly carbonated, minnimal head. Sweet smelling, spicy, yeast, floral aroma. Crisp and lively. earthy bitter finish. This is a nice bottle.

Wonderful, a great example of a Belgian Strong ale. There is a bit of thinness in the middle, maybe too much candi sugar? still, the ABV remains hidden somehow. Expect more yeast flavors but still really good.
