COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

tap at Toronado. It pours with a fairly light color. I had RR Salvation and the Collbaoration and I agree with people that say that the Avery component supplies the alcohol hotness. This brew is indeed quite hot, the alcohol is veryu prominent ovwerpowering some of the other flavors. One can still taste some notes of bubblegum and banana and a hint of malts and hops but it is almost burning with alcohol.

Orange/light amber pour. Thin, light ringlets of lacing. White head is quickly diminishing, though not fully so. Aroma is of candy sugar, lightly toasted malts, flaked citrus rinds, yeast and slight tartness. Flavor is dusty and grainy, showcasing more lightly toasted malts and sugars throughout. Finishes semi-dry, with subtle lingering dark fruits and citrus oils. Palate is medium-light to medium-full, quite sticky. Draft and bottle samples, very tasty when fresh. Of this offering, the Russian River brew with the same name, and Collaboration Not Litigation, all tasted side-by-side, this one wins out as the most refreshing and my favorite of the three.

Bomber. Pours dark golden with a nice rocky white head. Great aroma of yeast, spice, fruit, and hops. Taste is smooth and creamy with a slightly bitter, hoppy bite to it. Nice.

Hazy amber-orangeish hue, with an off-white head, yeasty fruity nose of peaches, oranges, with note of sweet marmalade, with some candy sugar and honey accents, with a faint coriander spiciness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, peachy fruity character, with a candied orange peel and marmalade fruitiness, hint of honeyness and candy sugar, with an alcoholic warmth mouthfeel, a subtle Grand Marnier liquorish note, faint floral hop, leading towards a sweet fruit alcoholic, and a mild hop bitterness finish.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2007 On tap at the Happy Gnome. Light, golden orange in color. Syrupy and pungent aroma of sour orange and urinal alcohol. Tastes of lemon zest and some floral hops with a slight but forceful presence of alcohol. Palate is light but not hollow, and quite smooth. Not memorable, and made with a sloppy design, though it retains tolerability throughout.
