COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bottle 65 cl. An unclear orange-amber colour with a small off-white head. An aroma of malt, hops, yeast and fruit. The taste is heavy sweet and light bitter. A full body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a long finish.

22oz bomber bought in Boulder and opened into pint glass in San Diego. Looks clear and yellow with slightly off white soapy head with loks of carbonation bubbling. Smells like a a very pale malt belgian with lots of piney hops. Tastes at first like pale golden smooth malts then a decently heavy bitterness on the back of my palate. The funk of the belgian yeast comes out later in the middle of the gulp. overall 8.5 of 10

Bottle. Golden body, small white head. Nose is molasses, pale malts, acacia honey and hints of fruity, melon-like tones. Taste is characterized by a lot of sweet nuances, some rather undefinable malty tones underneath molasses and honey. These hard-to-describe sweetness tones is something I’ve had in Avery beers before, and while being tough to pinpoint they are rather pleasant. Maybe a house yeast? :-) A nice, but slightly too sweet BSA in my opinion.

Poured from a bomber into a snifter. Appearance is a translucent gold with a thick, light yellowish head of foam. Sheets of lacing left after foam dissipates. Aroma is very fruity. I get notes of oranges with a touch of nutmeg and some mulling spice. The taste makes me think this is what an IPA would taste like if its flavors weren’t surrounded by bitternes. I get oranges and a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon. Finish is juicy, long, and a touch warm.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on September 8. Pours a fizzy golden liquid with a thin white head that disappears rather quickly. Smell is sweet and aromatic with hints of grapefruit and peach. Taste is sweet with a nice dry and rather hoppy finish. There is apricot and peaches mixed with some fresh cilantro. A nice beer that is a bit too sweet to score top points.

22oz. bottle. Light orange color with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is sort of sweet and hoppy. Taste is minimally boozy with some peach and hops to the taste. Very mellow taste overall and very drinkable despite the higher abv. Definitely recommend. 9% alcohol.

Snygg etikett. Jag gillar verkligen det här .
