COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Poured a clear orange with a medium sized off-white head. Spicy yeasty aroma with fruit underneath. Flavor starts spicy and gets spicier toward the finish. Some fruit and toffee underneath. Dry warming finish.

22. Pours a brilliant crystal clear medium amber with a few columns of rising carb and a solid, sudsy white head. Big peppery, earthy hop nose, with some light apricot in there. Mildly carbed body, medium and dry. Apricots and very mild tobacco notes show up on the mid-palate, along with some biscuit and dark peppery/spicy notes. This is probably good enough to finish.

Bottle at ’December at DougShoemaker’s 2005’ -- courtesy of ?. Pours a clear dark orange with an average size white head. Aroma of fruity malt, hops, yeast and spices. Flavour of malt, a surprising amount of citrus hops, yeast and alcohol. Full bodied. Nice!

Bottled from Systembolaget slightly hazy golden with à white head. Tropical fruits in the aroma; peaches, apricots along with some spicies. Sweet and malty with warm ing alcohol. Same tropical fruits as in the aroma.

This brew poured a large sized head of fine to medium sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated light brown colored body and a good lace. The aroma was mild with fruity malty doughy and floral notes. The mouthfeel was initially biting and yet it smoothened in the finsh. It had a fruity bannana apricot doughy malty flavor. A very nice brew that gave us a nice buzz.

Bottle. Average bubbly beige head that mostly diminished. Somewhat clear amber color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma was a lovely mix of malty sweetness and light hoppy feel. Notes of caramel, fruit / peach, light floral notes, maybe hint of underlying liquorish. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and light dry and at the same time light thick texture. Well balanced between the moderated sweet malty base flavor and the floral hoppyness. Light dry and what I thought was lingering fruity sweet finish. Really well brewed I thought.

Dark orange color with a thin head. Aroma of bread. Dry and bitter malt taste with a slight orange finish. None of the bread or spice I would of have expected and liked. Not as ’salvating’ as I wish.

22 oz. bottle. Clear orange-straw hue with very little head. Sweet smells of bananas, watermelon, black pepper. Nicely carbonated with a light, creamy mouthfeel. Decent taste of black pepper and spices with a hint of bubblegum. A decent brew but not a good one ,has a raw, unfinished quality which I thought might go away after a year in the cellar. No such luck here.
