COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Pailhead (3326) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - OCT 2, 2004
Bottle: Aroma is fruit, alcohol, and some hops. Pours a transparent amber with a decent white head. Based on the aroma the flavor is a little suprising. Definitely malty, but not as fruity as I expected. Caramel and peach flavor with a very malty taste and slight alcohol burn in the finish. Spicey. Fruity and alcohol aftertaste. The burn is noticeable but the alcohol flavor itself isn’t overpowering which is nice. It's not hidden all that well, but it balances rather nicely with the other flavors. Hops in the aroma are stronger than the hops in the actual flavor. The aroma and flavor seem to oppose each other. What’s stronger in the aroma is weaker in the flavor and vice versa.

Boutip (3294) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2006
Bottle courtesy of Daalamar: Poured a clean dark golden color ale with a small foamy head with little retention. Aroma of candi sugar is a bit overpowering and doesn’t allow for much else. Taste is very sweet with very little yeast or spices characteristics. Alcohol is pretty subdued but a bit too one-dimensional and boring in my own opinion.

drewbeerme (3262) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 23, 2006
22oz with the new "A" on label (probably a 1-3 months old). perhaps one of my favorite labels. Pours a semi hazy pale color with big head. aroma has some nice citrus and belgian yeast aroma. fizzy and over carbinated. flavor is sweet, citrus, very bananay, and crisp. leaves an alcohol burn. i admit this beer is refreshing at first, but the flavors became annoying half way through the bomber.
