COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bottle, Kegs & Barrels, McKinney, TX. Poured a nice hazt gold with white head, ok retention. Aroma of slight bannana, malt, clove, and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt with light notes of bannana & Clove, and other fruity notes I can not identify. Palate is medium carbonation, medium mouth feel.

Very attractive beer: deep gold-orange with a large head initially reducing to a lather head. Orangy fruit nose with some yeast and grain. Thinner malt-front than expected, but it bursts quickly into a spicy zing: cloves and cinnamon, maybe pepper. Some citrus tone. Good balance.

22 oz bottle-pours a bright orange hue with a nice big-bubble slightly off-white head. big sweet, candy sugar aroma-big banana. The flavors are like that of a belgian tripple-lots of sweetness, banana, yeast esters. very complex, but not all that well balanced. I got a peppery note in the finish. This beer is just too sweet for me to drink again. After i poured the yeast into the chimay glass, there was a bigger banana aroma going on. Avery did a good job here, just tone down the sugary sweetness and this is a find BSA.

The smell is oranges, sweet, spices, little alcohol, fruits, and yeast. The look is cloudy, bright orange in color with an ok white head. The taste is yeast, fruits, alcohol, spices, and stone fruits.

22 oz bottle purchased at Spirits RB. Poured a clear golden honey color with an average size fluffy white head. Spicey aroma with notes of yeast, white pepper, bread, and fruit. Extra dry palate, medium bodied and noticable carbonation. Flavor of yeast, dough, spice and citrus zest. It says you can cellar this stuff for three years but mine didn’t even make it home, I drank it at a party so don’t get your panties all in a bunch thinking I was pounding this one while driving.

22oz bottle pours amber with a short offwhite head. Aromas of yeast, alcohol, a touch of spice and some apricot/peach. Flavor is many of those same notes. Lots of yeast, lots of peachy fruits and some slight spice with alcohol warmth at the finish. Fair carbonation with a fizzy mouthfeel and a somewhat dry finish. Pretty easy drinking though honestly. Not a bad brew..

Bottle at Brewtopia ’04. Little head above a clear, deep yellow body. Hop aroma is a little much for the style. The flavor is spicy, playing between clove, corriander and orange in the background. O.K., but not hitting the mark dead on.

Bottle. Hazy Golden orange with no head. Nasty yeasty, stewed veggies, sweetness. Flavor is bitter with notes of seaweed and overripe fruits. This is a mess of a beer.
