COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

22oz bottle-A dark golden/light amber body with a small ring for a head and an aroma of yeast with some citrus in there as well. This brew starts off with the yeast and citrus(almost hefe like) then goes into more yeasty and slight alcohol along with some banana. An easy drinking Golden.

650 ml bottle.
Pours golden colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of apricot, caramel and grass. Flavour of apricot, sweet caramel malts, herbs, grass, some hops and spices. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel and a sweet, herb-like finish with toffee. Too sweet for me.

Clean white, tight beaded head, splotchy lacing. Hazey orange color. Big, spicey, appley, citrus nose! sweet. Medium body with a somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Kinda soda poppy also? Citrusy, bready flavor. Nice hop presence. Finish is med/dry. The alc. also makes itself known. Avery makes some interesting brews.

Thanks Roy at Ruby’s for hooking me up with a bottle when the Pisgah Solstice tap was acting up. Had a little side-by-side tasting. Poured kind of flat at first but coaxed a nice head after refilling my glass. Lovely golden color. Quite clear. Lovely fruit (orange, orange peel and peach) aroma, along with strong spice on the nose. None of the doughy/floury/yeasty notes of some true Belgians, but the fruit and spice on this one are quite nice.

(Bottle) Pours a light amber color with little head, but champaign-like carbonation. Light fruit and yeast in the aroma. Taste included some sugary cotton candy notes, some vanilla, and a good amount of spice as well. Light hops as well. Good palate and fizzy mouthfeel. The alcohol is nicely masked within the beer.
