COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Nice cloudy golden color, medium sized head that lasted for some time and then slowly fading to a decent lace. The aroma was fruity and spicey with a decent flavor of light malt but mostly fruit and spice coming through as well as a mild hop taste towards the end.Not a bad brew but not exactly what i’m looking for eather.Decent enough to try again though in the distant future.

Not a bad tripel but not a great one. Actually, it’s hard to call it a tripel at all given that it lacks a certain Belgian yeast character (like it’s brother the Reverend). Slightly hazy golden orange color with a quickly diminishing head. Nose is sweet, lightly spicy. Mouthfeel is nice and thick but just a bit lacking in carbonation. Very lightly tart with a stronger-than-expected woody bitterness in the finish.

Had an aroma and taste of foot after initial pour. Not very good. Mildly hoppy and semi sweet. Decent but I won't try again.

There’s a joke in here about finding salvation in a bottle, but I’ll leave that to the professionals.

An amber/orange colored brew under an average and fading, off-white head. Good Belgian character in the aromas, which ran the gamut of caramel maltiness, grapefruit hopiness and light, doughy yeastiness... along with honey and alcohol. Flavor was a bit wanting, however, starting with heavy sugars proceding to some middle malts and ending with some strong alcohol that quickly canceled out all the flavor. After a promising start, it ended rather "blah".

Very interesting, and, after a full 750, I’m still not sure how I feel about it. A pretty beer, lovely golden with a hint of brown. Head is frothy and sticky with a slight salmon tinge to the color. Love the nose--it’s soft, creamy, and fruity, and a little musty. It’s a very sweet brew, lots of candy sugar. Very fruity, starting with a slightly harsh banana flavor, finishing up liked sweetened apple juice with some pear and peach added. Fizzy, akin to ginger ale. Nice round, soft, and luscious mouthfeel, melding with the sugary fruitiness to make this taste like a liquid taffy of some sort. The sweetness lacks depth, however, and lacks any particularly distinctive flavor. My guess is this would improve considerably with aging.

65 cl bottle at Skallerup Klit. Dark amber to brown color, disappering white head. Aroma is strong fruit and sweetness, hops and hints of alcohol. Flavor is very sweet with dried fruit and alcohol. Nice.

Hazy orange body with a moderate head. Aroma is spices, lighter fruits, pepper, light caramel. Flavor is the same, at first there was WAY too much alcohol but later it was more palatable. A solid offering, but I would have liked to see less alcohol and more of other flavors.
