COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a thin off-white head that quickly fades into a thin ring. Not much in the way of lacing. Estery golden fruit aroma with hints of grape, apple and pear with some crisp floral hop notes and alcohol. Crisp spicy medium body with a lot of estery light fruit notes, floral hops, slightly creamy body, subtle hops and alcohol warmth. Smooth, quaffable and pretty drinkable. Hints of peppery spice, crisp citrus and light fruit notes. I’m picking up estery apple and pear with some orange peel, subtle hop bitterness and alcohol.

Orange. Very nice aroma of ripe, dripping apricots, citrus fruits, sweet malt and sugars. Sugary as hell in the flavor yet not cloying. Big, bursting fruity flavor with notes of tangerine, apricot, grapefruit and orange. Medium bodied but silky and smooth. A delightful beer.

Nice belgian style strong ale! Bottle. Pours golden orange color with a small white head that disappeared rapidly but left enough of a ring of around the edge to create some lacing. Aroma is fruity and yeasty like a delicious sweet fruit bread. Flavor is apricot, citrus, honey and spice - very nice. Mouthfeel is almost syurpy with a light carbonation. Another fine ale from the folks at Avery!

Citrus, lemon and orange -- something of a tripel with hops contributing some of the citrus. Very hoppy for the style. Bright to boot. Slightly creamy. Clove. A bit of calcium carbonate? Medium to very effervescent. This is a strange but welcome space. Very cool.

Bomber. Pours cloudy hazy orange/gold nice head atop. Mandarin lemon and alcohol in the nose. Full bodied with progressive spice, coriander, mandarin, and alcohol mouth. Has some abbey characteristics. Leaves a spicy hoppy yeast taste in the long finish.

#500!! Pours a rich amber color, slightly bronzed. Thin head and little lacing. Aromas of wheat, malt, some honey and citrus hops. Probably sweet orange peels. Nice floral characters as well. Complex flavors. Hops and coriander or clove come out right at the beginning. This leads into a mellow and smooth maltiness that lasts until some bittering hops finish it all off. Fruits are abundant, more orange, some sweet and some bitter. Hints of banana and bubblegum tease as well. Full body, tangy and spice filled palate, and a nice complex finish of fruits, spice and hops. Definately a delectable Belgian. Not the best, but I think it was damn good.

Bomber mours a golden orange with a nice white yeasty head. The aromas come out as lots of distinctly trappist yeast with a little orange zest and spices. It has a medium body in the mouth and tastes sweet but not overly sweet. Candi sugars, carmel flavors, finishing with spices maybe clove and corriander and definite high amount of alcohol you could taste and feel.
