COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Poured into my Duvel glass. Golden boardering on orange. Started with a huge head but disipated to just a thin layer on top. No visable carbonation. Crystal clear. Upon the first whiff, honey, perfume, spicey yeast character (clove, cinnamon), and some apricot. Now the drink. Pear, alcohol, sweet, and sticky. I don’t detect any hops. Its kind of solventy at the end. I think its a fine beer. I may even be drinking this too warm. Fine enough beer.

Gold metallic color; No head; WONDERFUL floral nose unlike any I have smelled in this style. Nice dry alcohol to start. Minimal spice- becomes quite cloying at the halfway mark. Sweetness is about to do itself in.

bomber. pours a light golden color with a 1/2" white head... spicy and citrus aromas. There is a lot of spice on the palate with a touch of apricot. Very soft over the tongue and finishes strong with a slight bitterness and heavy spice presence. Overall very enjoyable and easily drinkable. Solid.

Pours a great golden color with a very nice white head. Smells of some dry fruits and a bit of spicyness. Taste is refreshing, crisp, hints of sweetness and spices.

50cl bottle from Countryside Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a slightly cloudy dark golden color with a thick, creamy white head. Smells sweet and flowery with notes of caramel, spice, fresh flowers, and malt. Taste is much of the same with notes of malt, caramel, spice, and fresh grass/hay. Slight but pervasive bitterness throughout and especially on finish. Generally creamy mouthfeel with slight notes of faint coffee on finish.

Bottle. Fruity aroma with some hops. If I was blindfolded I would able to tell that this was made by an Americcan brewer by the aroma, though it does have notes of Belgian yeast. Really nice hazy orange body with white to off-white head. Some lace. Big Belgian yeast flavor with dark fruits and candy sugar. Really excellent. Good hop profile, though not hoppy per se. Underrated.

Bottle from the Whole Foods on Lamar. Awkward cloudy orange pour. Aroma of alcohol, banana, and clove. Taste is spicy with citrus, banana, and alcohol.

Bottle. Gold/orange body. Nose is floral. Taste is bitter, spcy, sweet, and floral. Notes of anise, clove, apple, and bitter hops come out. There is a bit of a perfume quality to this that I don’t care for. The finish is warm and has notes of black pepper, alcohol, and citrus. As this beer warms, it loses the aforementioned perfume taste and the flavors begin to come together nicely. When you drink this one, drink a little bit of it cold and then drink the rest at slightly above room temperature. They are two diffrent beers.
