COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and ripe, tropical fruits and fresh hops. Pretty much the Avery house character, which I love. Flavour is also more Avery than Belgian, but on the sweet (and peachy) side.

Warm amber with a small head. The aroma has notes of hops, spice (coriander and more) and fruit. The flavour is fruity with notes of peach, a bit of apple, coriander, candy sugar, caramel and the finish has a nice bitterness, more than the Belgian ones, but just right for me. A nice one - seems to be words at the end of all my Avery ratings :)

Pinball (7772) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2009
cloudy orange, large smooth offwhite head. yeasty and slightly fruity aroma. something that might resemble stable or leather, but is a bit sweeter. lots of aroma. flavor is sweet, malty, sawdust, grassy, faint fruitiy sugary flavor, bitterness that is hoppy and sawdusty. this one best before 1-9-2009 acc. to distributor, so it’s rather well cellared. if only avery had printed the production date i’d be wiser as to how old it is. in three words. bitter, grass, sweet...

Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. Off white dense medium sized head. Sweet, fruity, light alchol and fruit in the aroma. Flavour is smooth. Sweetness, fruit, hops and a light citric touch. Is nicely sweet and hoppy in the end. Medium bodied and quite a treat.

This beer rocks. The commercial description works. I detected hickory smoke in the nose, much like a rauchbier. A great, well-balanced belgian ale. A bit tart. Not sweet. Very complex. Great stuff.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty moderate hopy aroma. Very sweet moderate bitter flavor. Moderate bitter average finish. Syruply palaye. not my kind of BSA.

Interesting floral aroma with stone fruit notes. Bright gold color with a white head that attempts lacing. Thin to medium bodied, with light, creamy carbonation. The flavor starts with spice and stone fruit; could be some peach. Definitely could be apricot - more likely than peach. Finish is fairly dry, and not really bitter. It is hard to believe there is 9% in here. This is really delicious.
