COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Poured from the bottle with a smallish off-white head that chose an early exit. Sort of hazy yellow/orange, more yellow but a lot going on in the aroma. Apricot, banana, and spices of clove and cinnamon came through. Much fuller body than I expected - lots of sugar and spice. I enjoyed the flavor, the drawbacks for me being a bit too much sweetness and a slightly chalky finish.

Hazy golden color with thick slowly falling head. Malt, hops and stone fruits in the aroma. Fruity, spicy, stone fruits, and cloves. Banana there but pleasantly light. Good rich mouth feel.

Bomber poured a cloudy amber with minimal head. Incredible smell, sweet, musky from the yeast with nice strong fruit notes. Body is a bit thin but with a balanced hop flavor surrounding the yeast, mild malt and fuitiness. Overall, excellent, brilliant, superb. Extremely complex.

Big Beer flavor of fruits and a tinge of alchohol stayed on the palate. Light pour and it had a good lacing, very good looking beer IMO. Not extremely thrilled overall, but a good beer nonetheless.

Fruity, apple aroma. Definitely some detectable esters. Bubbly mouthfeel, and present bitterness. Overall the flavor is really good, and while it isn’t my favorite Belgian Golden, it is pretty tasty. The flavor does also have notes of cinnamon and nutmeg as mentioned before. Finish is dry and fruity. Bottle, aged 1 year.

Clear, light colour. Head ok. Large fruity aroma. Peaches, citrus and a bit of scotch. Lovely fruit explosion and a square deal of alcohol. Round and full-bodied. Divided sensation: on the one side a round and soft cellar like dense fruitiness, on the other side a nasty, spritzy shower. Weird but good, even if the alcohol makes itself felt too much. Aftertaste is light and pleasant. 2011-10-14

Drunk, from the largest of Lucifer glasses, this golden monster unleashes it’s true character. By all looks deceiveing, this orange hued beast slides down the throat, like a drunkard on a steep slope. Not quite Belgian, but not to be missed.
