COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Orange/light amber pour. Thin, light ringlets of lacing. White head is quickly diminishing, though not fully so. Aroma is of candy sugar, lightly toasted malts, flaked citrus rinds, yeast and slight tartness. Flavor is dusty and grainy, showcasing more lightly toasted malts and sugars throughout. Finishes semi-dry, with subtle lingering dark fruits and citrus oils. Palate is medium-light to medium-full, quite sticky. Draft and bottle samples, very tasty when fresh. Of this offering, the Russian River brew with the same name, and Collaboration Not Litigation, all tasted side-by-side, this one wins out as the most refreshing and my favorite of the three.

22 oz bottle. Poured a hazy orange color with a nice frothy white head. Aroma of citrus honey and malts. This is a smooth medium bodied brew with a dominant sweet spicy taste to it. The beer finishes nice and smooth leaving you wanting more. This is a very good Belgian Ale.

22 oz bomber. Pours a light copper with very active carbonation and an off white semi-thick head that leaves clean lacing behind. The nose is full of fruit, smoke, alcohol, and an earthy grain. The taste starts with an apple/apricot fruit combo with a background of hoppy kicks throughout the flavor through to the malty sweet yet earthy finish. There is a very spicy quality to this brew, which offers an unusual balance to the hops. The palate is thin and bubbly, leaving a slightly dry mouth. Although the bubbly feel and these types of hops aren’t my favorite qualities in beers, this beer is complex and interesting, with many fruity hues throughout the temperature changes.

pours a murky golden color. smell is unusually hoppy for this style of beer. medium carbonation taste is more tradioitonal belgian style. but the hops really accent this beer nicely. pretty tasty brew here.
