COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

bottle poured a cloudy amber in color with a big head that almost continued to grow from the carbination. smells of fruits, yeasts, spice, and some hops. taste is as the smell would let you think, good body with a full and somewhat creamy texture, good hops for the beer, spices, and some good fruits. good beer and masks the 9% rather well.

Had the version of 2008, 2005, and 2002 in a vertical tasting. Very nice and still the 2002 version was the best

Light yellow orange and clear appearance with a orange cream colored head. Citrusy and yeasty light Belgian aroma. Sweet and light Belgian ale flavor with some orange citrus. Some and somewhat fruity finish. Very smooth.

Poured from the bottle with a smallish off-white head that chose an early exit. Sort of hazy yellow/orange, more yellow but a lot going on in the aroma. Apricot, banana, and spices of clove and cinnamon came through. Much fuller body than I expected - lots of sugar and spice. I enjoyed the flavor, the drawbacks for me being a bit too much sweetness and a slightly chalky finish.

Bottle, thank to SlovakSniper. Clear gold pour with frothy white head. Aroma is very hoppy, almost like an IPA but with a distinct belgian yeast aroma. Taste is refreshingly bitter, light yeast fruitiness and spiciness. Alcohol is very well hidden, I understand better now how I ended up so drunk that night, I was drinking this down like a pale ale. Unpretentious and tasty.
