3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 OleR (3510) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 26, 2011
Shared bottle at RBNAG-11. Hazed honey colored body, under a ring of white bubbles. Fresh yeasty and fruity aroma with some fine spice notes.
Fairly light-bodied. Gently sweet, caramelly malt flavor. Some fine fruit tones, and a fair amount of spices underneth. Soft sparkling carbonation. Spiced, fruity endnotes. Drinks good, feels very light for such a big beer.

22. Pours a brilliant crystal clear medium amber with a few columns of rising carb and a solid, sudsy white head. Big peppery, earthy hop nose, with some light apricot in there. Mildly carbed body, medium and dry. Apricots and very mild tobacco notes show up on the mid-palate, along with some biscuit and dark peppery/spicy notes. This is probably good enough to finish.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JugOPunch (83) - Nashua, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 20, 2006
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2006 22oz bottle: Pours a cloudy dense golden orange. The aroma is citrus, mostly orange peel and peachy grapefruit with a little alcohol. This has a medium body with a creamy oily mouthfeel. The citrus is followed in the flavor with the orange and a little banana. It was quite tangy for a beer especially the deeper I got in the bottle. There was a definite alcohol tingle on the tongue that I could have done without. In the end, it was a little over the top for me but probably would have been better having aged about a year or so.

on tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Pours pretty deep golden color. Sweet fruity aroma of peach, caramel. Flavor of caramel sweetness, alcohol tingles the palte. Pretty spicy. Nice beer
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Ibrew2or3 (4699) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 26, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2006 Clear golden color with thin white head. Aroma of sweet candy/cane sugar and malt plus a bit of fruit. The taste is light and fresh. Didn’t realize it states 9% ABV on the bottle until I was half way thru the 22 oz. bottle. Really don’t sense the alcohol. I taste sweet candy sugar, banana, spice and some hop bitterness. This Belgium beer doesn’t have the somewhat typical sour tang. I’m not a Belgium beer aficionado but I’d place this beer at the top right behind Orval and Chimay Triple (draft) of the beers I’ve tasted.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Headbanger (2072) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 5, 2008
22oz bottle-A dark golden/light amber body with a small ring for a head and an aroma of yeast with some citrus in there as well. This brew starts off with the yeast and citrus(almost hefe like) then goes into more yeasty and slight alcohol along with some banana. An easy drinking Golden.

Bomber. Pours a hazy light orange with a tight white head that last. Aroma is spicy phenols along with some sweet orange. Flavor is very much like the aroma....lots of spice, some sweetness, a little orange, and a warming of alcohol. Finishes a bit sweet. Overall, this is a very nice beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 holdenn (1841) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 1, 2006
Bomber mours a golden orange with a nice white yeasty head. The aromas come out as lots of distinctly trappist yeast with a little orange zest and spices. It has a medium body in the mouth and tastes sweet but not overly sweet. Candi sugars, carmel flavors, finishing with spices maybe clove and corriander and definite high amount of alcohol you could taste and feel.
