COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

22 oz bottle. Clear golden yellow with a foamy pure white head. Sweet malt and candi sugar aroma with light fruit and some spices. The flavor is lots of bready sweet malt with some light spices and apple. Medium body with average carbonation and a long sweet finish. Pretty solid beer, semi-sweet and hides the alcohol well.

Thin oily white head on a orange gold body. Extremely sweet nose of caramel and warm brown sugar. Taste is a slight bittersweet apricot, leaning heavy on an almost sickly malt, but nice if youve neen away from the style for a while. Served in a 750mil bottle though its probably too much to do alone... but I’m not about to pour the rest out! Palate has lighter oily elements, with some bitter at the edges of the tongue, long finish I’d say.

On tap @ AVery. Caramel, brown sugar, some honey, and spicy white pepper smell. Wonderful nose. Taste is sweet caramael and peaches upfront, slight hop kick nd then finishes boozy and pretty sweet and mouth coating. Interesting brew.

A very, very, very faint belgian wheat nose. Very very. A great golden color with a delicate white head. Ahhhhh... but the taste is worth it! Belgian candy sugar with a light malt. I get what they’re going for here, and I like it. Smooth, not too syrupy for such a candy-style beverage.

Poured hazy yellowish orange with nice white head, dissipating quickly. Aroma has notes of lemon, grass, fruity pear, apricot notes in there as well, biscuit, spice notes in there with a touch of earth from the spice. Taste fairly smooth with hints of lemon and orange notes, some slight bitter grass leads into some nice white fruit with apricot, pear and some slight peach, hints of earthy spice bring it back with some biscuit, finishing fairly sweet but dry.

Bottle; Pour is clear, light golden, with an average off white head in this glass; spotty lacing is present as well. The nose is spicy, fruity, and slightly bready. The flavor profile is a little sweet, overall. Cinnamon, caramel, sweet breads, peaches, and a general spiciness. The belgian side isn’t exactly dominant; Either way, a nice drinker , masking the abv fairly well.
