Not bad at all just reallllly boring. TChrome (1303), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 29, 2005 Beer pours clear amber color with a retained beige colored head. Aroma is rich with butter scotch, alcohol, and molassess. Flavor is very sweet with brown sugar, alcohol, and oak. This is to me pretty similar to JW Lees Harvest, but I like this a bit better. Still, too sweet, for me. I prefer one year old Big Foot to this any day. guzzler67 (1289), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Cloudy, copper appearance with an average size, off white head and moderate lacing. Woody, caramel malt aroma with hints of scotch and vanilla. Earthy, dark fruit, mildly spiced flavors. After the sweetness settles, the alcohol pounces and lingers through to the finish where it becomes a bit harsh. Full bodied mouthfeel with little carbonation. Had to get a second bottle because the first one wasted me before I could rate it. Definitely left a lasting impression. jrob21 (1285), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 8, 2006 Pours a clear amber color. Slight head that goes away quickly. Smells of plum and cherry. Wow I didn’t expect so much power from this one. Full malty and sweet. Reminds me of a fruity desert. Hints of bubblegum? at the finish. Not bubblegum....vanilla. JCW (1262), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2005 This beer is oak aged Beast. The aroma is alcoholic, it will put a tingle in your nose, sweet, fruity(like dates, dried apricots, dried mangos) and woody. I didn’t pick up the vanilla flavors I was expecting in the flavor, it was all sweet. This bottle should age in to something fantastic, as it is now it is just too sweet. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Too sweet for me ...couldn’t fisish. durhambeer (1245), Durham, USA

Slightly oxidized nose, lots of brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, and some oak. Boozy as hell and cloyingly sweet. I’ve tried sipping this for about an hour, but I’m pretty sure I’m gonna pour this out. waolsen (1224), Littleton, Colorado, USA
