pours a hazy effervescent golden with a small white head that leaves some nice lacing... aroma of peaches, honey, very floral with some belgian yeasty notes... very lively almost champagney in body, with flavors of honey and peach and flowers overpowering any subtleties found beneath.. a touch tart, and a touch dry...

Pours a hazy pale gold with a 1 finger head that is rather chunky at first, then fades a bit and becomes very creamy and is somewhat sustained by high effervescence, but does fade after a few minutes. Aroma is wheat, lots of floral notes, light wet limestone, earthy leaves (like last year’s leaves during a dry spring day), light ceral grain, straw, dusty grass and a hint of lightly acidic fruit. Some ethanol and dried grass comes out as it warms. Flavor is wheat, light earthiness, some spice, yeasty white bread, floral hops, some citrus, banana, clove, ethanol, I noticed some peach as well, but if I didn’t read the description I may have just noted it as a slightly tart fruity character. Palate is medium bodied with a strong, but soft carbonation, slick entry, pretty dry finish and a bit of alcohol burn. More earth and funk, less alcohol please.

Had to go out of state this time in order to keep up with this anniversary series. Brought this back from North Carolina. Very reminiscient of a young champagne. Very dry mouthfeel with a distinct hop bitterness on the finish. Well carbonated. Grassy, citrusy aroma with a bit of lemon and a little funk. Pretty unique but all in all just an ok beer. Pour is very light and clear yellow with a bubbly white head.

2009-11-27. Hazy pale yellow with a small white head. 3+ Modestly alcoholic aroma, peppery spice over muted pale malt, light yeast, very light funky floral undertones. 7+ Flavour is similar, with pepper and alcohol that are just a touch sharp at first but mellow pleasantly. Peppery spice dominates over a mild pale malt base, light saisony funk. 7+ Average plus palate. Enjoyable. Bottle shared by Blankboy.

Bottle Pours out a hazy golden toppws with a nice white head. Aroma was of spice, citrus/floral hops, and some yeast. Taste more of the spice, and light hop notes, a little fruit. A touch of the peach. Not to bad.

[2596-20091127] 1pt6floz bottle. Peach or apricot fresh fruit aroma. Slightly hazy, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Spicy saison fruity yeast flavour. Medium body. Average, was expecting a little more.

bottle - Pours cloudy straw colored and bubbly with a one finger fizzy head. The aroma is yeast, bananas, peaches, and some herbals. It has a sweet, yeasty, fruity flavor with hops coming in later that leads to a dry finish. It’s medium bodied and pretty lively on the palate. Good brew.

Pale gold, clear, nice head. Aroma was honey and yeast accented mustiness. Chamomille and spice, an aroma I have found in other Avery Belgians. Flavor is initially floral, some honey sweetness, and then a bone dry musty finish. Yeast is the show here. Didn’t catch any peach. Too bad, I like peach. Decent, but not spectacular.
