[ A gem from Grant ].Clear medium red - amber red color with a small large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, tart berry, wood, light to moderate yeasty, US brett yeast, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, berry, caramel, dry dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. I was expecting a little bit more. [20100825]

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes over ripe fruits, malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of berries as well as medium notes of straw, malt, and wood, leading to a dry finish.

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is dark malty, wineous fruity and acidic. Fruity, acidic and wineous. Rather phenolic and acidic. Dry. Lovely. Mouthdrying lacto finish.

Hazy amber with a medium to large beige head. Aroma was sour with lacto, brett, sour berries and roasted malt. Flavor was sour with sour berries, roasted malt, lacto, brett and bardnyard. Quite vinious. Finished very sour. Nice!

( 12oz bottle ) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small off-white head. Aroma of barnyard, cherry, caramel, and wood. Flavor of grass, cherry, green raisins, vanilla, caramel, light herbs, and leather.

Thanks to JCurlow for this one, at a tasting post pre ZBF. Hazy copper colour, lasting thin off white head. Vinous aroma. I kinda liked it, bit of salt and vinegar crisps but I thought quite good.

Bottle at home - shared with Plovmand. (Thanks to Doodler for trading this). Clear reddish - white head. Nice sourness, wooden notes, light bourbon notes, wine, light sparklinglight light alco, high vineous, light vanilla, no malty sweetness, fruity, red wine, fruit sweetness, bretty, acid, dark fruits, light berries. light lactic. Very nice.

Hazy orange amber with a big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is oaky, tart, brett, crispy malts, some cherries, light lactic. Highish carbonation, fairly light mouthfeel, some oiliness. Flavour has good tartness, lots of oak, light vinious, grapes, light apples, zesty, a bit of vanilla. Elegant and very drinkable sour ale.
