On tap @ Avery. Sampler poured copper yellow. Light malt nose touch of pine and citrus. The flavors are kind of a mess. Bitter pine that’s cloying and unbalanced. Syruppy malts boozy alcohol. Hard to finish. 7/3/6/3/13

redish gold pour, thin head. The apricot comes through up front and then the piney bitterness shows through. Very long bitter finish is a little unpleasent. An ok IPA. Not sure how many I could have considering the bitter finish.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2010 On tap @ brewery. Clear golden yellow with a light white head. Smelled a bit like a Belgian--floral, hoppy, and a little bitter on the nose. Smelled some citrus in there too. Taste was pretty hoppy and bitter, but no balance. It was sharp and more than a little like pine. Earthy hops and maybe some lemons were the main flavors I could gather. But to me, it’s all for naught if it’s not going to be balanced with any sweetness. Medium bodied with a pretty crisp mouthfeel, and a modeately bitter finish.

Draught. Orange/red with tan head. Aroma is grapefruit, biscuit, dirt, floral notes, and airfreshener/cleaning solution. Flavor is also brighter fruits and floral, lighter in body with big aggressive hops and decent booze presence.

On tap at Avery poured a clear orange amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, tangerine, light pine and light grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, tangerine, pine, earthiness and light grapefruit with a smooth dfry lingering bitter finish.

Tap at brewery.
Pours an average lively cheddar amber with a nose of faint grapefruit, sublte citrus and floral spices, and a touch of light biscuit. Flavor is subtle grapefruit and a slight piney orange. Average mouthfeel. A very refreshing beer; I would drink this again.
