Pours slightly hazy dark orange, with nice stark white head on tap at the brewery. Aroma has nice balanced notes of citrus with tangerine, grapefruit notes, going into some pine and grass, nice biscuit and caramel to balance. Taste is similar with notes of pine and grass, some nice orange, tangerine, even a touch of lemon, with some spice notes, biscuit and toffee, finishing fairly bitter. Nicely done, the addition of the tangerine really balances out the pine well.

Ibrew2or3 (7565) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 13, 2012
Poured up on tap at the brewpub with a hop hazed deep gold body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma is slightly dank and earthy and spicy with a slight malt sweetened sense of citrus around the edges. The taste has a nice load of bitterness with spicy hops to go along with dank like earthy hops. The hop bitterness hits firmly up front and is only slightly filled in with faint sweet malts and hop flavor but this allows it to stay light and refreshing. Nice stuff.

"Normal ibus and abv in this but has the feel and flavor of the growing session ipa crowd. easy drinking and pleasantly light, with ample citrus and less biterness than expected."

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2010 On tap @ brewery. Clear golden yellow with a light white head. Smelled a bit like a Belgian--floral, hoppy, and a little bitter on the nose. Smelled some citrus in there too. Taste was pretty hoppy and bitter, but no balance. It was sharp and more than a little like pine. Earthy hops and maybe some lemons were the main flavors I could gather. But to me, itís all for naught if itís not going to be balanced with any sweetness. Medium bodied with a pretty crisp mouthfeel, and a modeately bitter finish.

(Draught during GABF week at the brewery) rich orange/amber with long lasting creamy medium tangerine pour. Nose of candi sugar, candied orange, spices, brown sugar, awesome, and lightly funky. Taste with lots of tangerines, earthy and resinous citrus peel, awesome sweet balance to back it all up. Very creamy finish, sweet and bitter linger. Highly drinkable.
