Commercial Description:
The Beast is a seducer - accomodating, complicated, powerful, dark and created to last the ages. Beyond this, it's futile to attempt to describe Him. He will unveil Himself differently to each of His followers. The mark is in His constitution. Brewed with two-row malted barley, honey malt, and imported Belgian specialty grains (aromatic, pale wheat, roasted wheat, and Special B), hops (Magnum, Galena, Saaz, Hallertau, Tettnang, and Hersbrucker), brewing sugars (raisins, dates, blackstrap molasses, alfalfa honey, turbinado, and dark Belgian candy sugar), water, Belgian yeast and another hellion of a yeast strain.OG: 1.138

Thanks to KAggie97 for the beer. Bottled 2006. The bottle looks really good. The beer in the glass also, quite dark, not much foam. The beer starts strong-alcoholic, quite malty. Warming and intense finish, sweet notes. Very good beer!

Bottle (batch 6, 2008) from BevMo, La Mesa. Deep amber in color. Huge dark fruit aroma. Some figs and alcohol with some spices. Strong flavors of raisin and toboacco. Some prune as well. A little hop bitterness. Quite the sipper. Light alcohol tastes, especially considering the strength.

(USA) Bottled in 2007, Pours a dark amber color with a small dissipating white head. There is a strong molasses aroma with caramel and raisins. The taste is of roasted malts, sweet honey, hops, dark fruit, and of course alcohol. The 16.42 % might put you down for the count if you drink this strong ale to fast.....lol.

Bottle thanks to a trade some time back. 2006 vintage. Pours a very nice dark amber body with a thick light beige head. The aroma is very sweet; tons of caramel, molasses, malts, candied plums, and a ton of brown sugar. The taste is also quite sweet, marmalade, brown sugar, cotton candy, plum and raisins, toasted malt, a touch of hops come through. Quite a lot of flavor. The sugars really stick out. Too sweet for me, but nice. Not really that hot, but the alcohol shows.

12oz-batch 6. Beautiful dark amber color, small white head. Malt bomb, raisiny as well, lots of sugar. Big warming alcohol, kind of like a fruty liqour going down and coating the back of your throat, wow. This is the kind of stuff you look for, pretty damn good.
