3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pinky finger of Medium khaki colored head that only stuck around for a minute
Nice Creamy foam buildup on top.
When swirled it foams up but falls back in quickly.
Black as night.
Sweet. So much chocolate
Smells similar to the aroma that eminates when you make your own invert sugar (Belgian Candi Sugar).
Wow! Really thick.
Chocolate is the first thing youíll notice.
Taste the raisens. There is a tobacco flavor to it.
I can taste the alcohol. Itís not overwhelming, but itís definitely there. It actually suites this beer well. The sweetness and the warming from the alcohol are a nice combination.
Itís not the best Imperial stout, but it is extremely good.
I give this a B+. Itís good. Not great. But Iíd definitely have another without any argument.
Worth the Money?:
Itís worth what I paid for it ($6.99 for 22oz). It was an enjoyable experience. Iíd pay that for this again.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Smoke, chocolate and leather perfume out of the glass. Little head and a not quite pitch black color. Taste is a slight hit of hops that leads into the dark malts and some more of that smoke flavor. Roasty and clean with a little but of an alcohol burn. Good stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
A punch in the face Imperial Stout. Espresso, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, some hints of vanilla. Pours a dark oily black, no light showing through, tan head that dissipates quickly. Full mouthfeel, carbonation is just right. Leaves the flavor on the tongue like oil. Very well done.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Taco Mac. Nearly jet black with a creamy mocha head. Roast, coffee and heavy chocolate aroma; vanilla and dark ripe fruit notes. Very sweet - chocolate and ripe red fruit are prominent flavors. Finish is somewhat dry with a mild hoppiness. Body is full and creamy. Very good imperial stout.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
pours inky black with a creamy tan head and solid lacing. aroma is coffee, vanilla and chocolate. taste is much the same with a stiff hop character and a well balanced quality overall. finish is long and a tad boozy but it doesnít completely give away its high abv. excellent, refined beer.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 09.02.2014, 0,65l bottle (2012 vintage) @ home, courtesy of RobertDale:
Big slightly brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is rich and slightly sweet, licorice, chocolate pudding, dark malts, coffee, dark sugar, soy sauce, caramel, hints of dark fruits. Taste is slightly dry, cough syrup, spicy raw licorice pastilles, alcohol, hops, dark malts, burnt caramel and coffee, dark sugar. Longlasting mild bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice one, but I think it would have been even better with some years in the cellar.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2014 Bomber. Pours opaque black with moderate fluffy tan head that laces. Smells of maple, wood, and vanilla. Drinks sweetly with an alcoholic bite and mild lingering hop bitterness. Medium to full bodied. Tastes of booze, maple, wood, and bourbon.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a deep goopy black color with a trace of khaki foam. Nose is sweet chocolate syrup, vanilla and some boozy dark fruit and roasted chocolate malt. The palate is sweet as well. Big boozy chocolate sauce with underlying nuances of vanilla, fig. Slick almost oily mouthfeel. Good but just doesnít all come together into a harmonious beer.
