| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 15, 2008 2007 bottle. Pours a translucent golden amber with a medium creamy/bubbly off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of Munich malt, grains, malty and sweet all balanced nicely with the spicy, floral and citrus notes of the Noble hops. Flavor was a mix of the same malty, grainy, molasses, sweet with a nice touch of Noble hop spiciness. Optigon (561), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Pours red, clear, kind of thick, with a moderate, fine head. Aroma is rather fruity with some hop aroma. Thick mouth feel with a strong fruity quality to the flavor. Bits of caramel come forward. Really tasty, excellent, big beer. VitaminR (426), Colorado, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Sweet pineapple/resin nose. Orange to amber color. Super sweet malt accentuated by the alcohol, could use just a slight bit more bitterness, but still fairly well-balanced. Very full , with a long, long, long finish...very unique beer, and certainly in terms of an typical Oktoberfest. A excellent, even approachable, "big" beer. pnista (1008), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Well I’ll be horn swaggeled. It looks, smells and tastes kind of like a marzen. the big booze is just hidden I guess! Pours a clear reddish amber with a healthy white head, creamy. Sweet malty caramel nose. some floral hops and just a slight hint of toast. Something rather fruity to even bubblegum like. Creamy tutti fruiti. Creamy smooth viscous slick feel. Decent carbonation. The flavors are pretty alright too. Sweet. Very sweet. Caramel malt backbone. A bit of floral hops, and that alcohol just peaks out where it should. Creamy. Fruity flavors, even lending something like a fruity socky sort of flavor... it is kind of out of place... but it might just be the toast, which I don’t care for terrible. Alcoholic finish. Lingering toast. BuckeyeSammy (455), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

I will definitely have another one.
