650ml bottle [Thanx David!] with 10.01% abv. Clear copper colour with very small yellowish head. Malty aroma, malty taste - Intense malty taste, monotonous malty taste. Well hidden alcohol, nevertheless provokes the malt intensity diffuse headache misgivings.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 ads135 (514) - Lawrence, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Are breweries still obsessed with making "imperial" offerings of all of the more traditional styles? This one might have been a bit unnecessary. One of the best things about oktoberfests is their sessionable qualities. The alcohol in this is distracting. Still, its a solid offering from a better than average brewery.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Marheb (671) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 27, 2012
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Reynolds314 (758) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 19, 2012
2010 bottle. Pours an orange/brown color with no head. Aroma is malty hay and crackers. Taste is quite sweet with bready, nutty malt notes. FInish is still sweet and a bit unappealing. Not bad but not good.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ernesto987 (1493) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 17, 2012
Rich malty beer, this one probably has way to much age on it. Alcohol bite a little unbalanced. Like the thick caramelly maltiness though.

Nice amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted sweet malt, caramel, fruit, & spice; Flavor of slight roasted sweet malt, caramel, molasses/syrup, fruit, hops, and spice; Finish is dry with some alcohol; Nicely balanced; Overall, a bit too sweet - but still a good sipper.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 CampesinoTino (497) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 27, 2012
Bomber. Pours a light reddish copper color with a circle of off-white bubbly foam. Malt dominates the aroma with plenty of toffee, vanilla, brown sugar, baked apple and booze-soaked raisins. Big time caramel and toasted bready malt flavors upfront as well as some butterscotch, candied date, prune and black cherry notes. Also a mildly spicy hops kick toward the end along with an alcohol warming sugary finish. Overall, it’s a sweet, bready and boozy brew that makes for a good beer to cap an evening of Oktoberfest festivities.
