Bottle. Nice copper pour with a healthy white head. Strong caramel aroma with some light fruit notes, flavor is more of the same. Caramel up front with tart apples and melons leading the way to a mild bitter finish. Very good.

Aug 28, 2008 2008 bottle. deep amber color with a thin cream head. malts, caramel, candy corn and alcohol lingering in the background. very thick with a huge sugary malt flavor. this is just way too hot for me right now.

Slightly hazy orange, tiny tight head. Sweet malty aroma, a bit bready or cakey. A bit of alcohol, and some big estery peaks. Soft palate, pleasant carbonation. Slightly gluey taste, but pretty well balanced between the malty body and the pleasant hoppiness. Those hops hang around in the finish, and taste pretty raw then.

Aug 26, 2008 Hazy amber/orange colour. Pale beige head. A quite sweet taste with hints of prunes. A hoppy finish. Among one of the best beers of the brewery. A 0.66L bottle (year 2006) shared at Pikkulintu.

Aug 23, 2008 22 oz bottle poured a deep orange and amber color. The aroma had some bitter orange in it which threw me off. Nice body, slightly thick. Nothing stood out in this beer for me. Will try again to give a better judgment.
