Apr 10, 2009 Bottled. Pours dark amber with a large offwhite head. Smells floral and hoppy. Has complexity in the flavor in addition to the expected hoppiness. I noticed cream, caramel and citrus notes as well. Very even palate. One of the best IPAs I’ve had.

Apr 9, 2009 Updated: Apr 10, 2009Bottle. Poured a dark orange red with a verl large off-white head. Aroma is gigantic hops. Flavor is sweet caramel with tons of hops, alcohol is pretty well hidden. Finish is bitter. Good!

Apr 9, 2009 Updated: Jun 24, 2009Great double ipa. Hits you with lots of citrus on the initial flavor. Beautiful golden amber cololr with a nice amount of head. This is a great one and for being so extremely hoppy and floral up front still a very sessionable beer I think. Great mouthfeel with a medium to full body. Highly highly recommend this one!
6/24/09-I think I am having a more fresh one this evening. On the nose the citrus/grapefruit is EXTREMELY pronounced. Just a great double, get this one!!!!

does not count  Apr 9, 2009 Updated: Apr 10, 2009I had this beer from a 22oz. bottle. It is a mostly clear golden bronze color. It has a citrus and hop arroma. The flavor is very hoppy yet balanced and finishes almost instantly.

Apr 8, 2009 On tap at Naked City. Pours mostly clear reddish amber with a nice off-white head. Nose is sweet citrus hops and a little bit of caramel and tropical fruit. Flavor is more earthy with lots of pine hops in addition to the caramel and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is thick and finish is long excellent pine hops.

Apr 7, 2009 Great beer. Pour is deep bronze color with smallish white head. Aroma, as said by others, is citrus hop blast: Grapefruit, orange, lemon, mild pine. Flavor is great. Very bright and true to the nose. Finish is initially hoppy with a bit of malt later on. Nice. Alcohol not very noticeable.

Apr 7, 2009 Very awesome sell of hops with citrus, grapefruit and lemon zest. Good tangy IPA flavor with very good pallet. This is a great Imperial IPA, one of the best i have had.

does not count Apr 6, 2009 A potent hophead’s heaven, enjoyed at the Ginger Man in an imperial pint glass. This fantastic brew leaves you as thirsty as when you started with its ridiculous dry mouth hopping. Citrus peel and Boulder must carry you into earthy grapefruit palate with well balanced malt levels building to its strength.
