Balanced by malt flavor of slight caramel flavor. Finish is lingering with grapefruit notes and aftertaste with malty sweetness. My favorite IPA variety. topher40409 (36), gainesville, Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Dark orange colored, cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Rich aroma fo course: fruits, peach, flowers, grass, mild alcohol, sweetness still present. Medium to full bodied. Flavor starts with perfume and strong sweetness, aftertaste turns to sur and dry with mild fruits and alcohol. Not too balanced with too dry ending. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Thick murky orange amber with a good white head and barely spotted lacing. Smell is big sweet hops with a bold fruit like presence - peaches appear more as it warms. Taste is awesome hops with a sweet malt balance. Finish is creamy and bitter but leaves an ideal sweet navel orange flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Overall, this is a great beer - it is creamy and satisfying and balanced and refreshing and YUM. darn1207 (547), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Pours an orange to amber hue. nice. Citrus, sweet, hops, very round in the mouth- delicious. Soft texture and little carbonation which is welcomed with this flavor bomb. It leaves some lace- this beer is a meal and dessert.
A fun drink and not too steep of a hill to climb for a first beer- Imperial IPA. Deserves a WOW! DerBiermeister (510), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

Orange color, some sticky lacing and a nice aroma with a lot of pine needles and citrus hops and the longer it breathes the stronger it seems to get. Big hoppy flavor with a lot of pine needles, citrus grapefruit and oranges. Just enough sweet malt backing to still allow the hops to dominate. Very nice bitterness in the finish. Excellent!
