(Draught at Avery - GABF) very opaque, juicy orange color with excellent tan head and lacing. Nose of pineapple, guava and peach. Taste of guava puree, peach, light grain, very mild alcohol and plums. Very real fruit juice linger, soft but abundant carbonation with a great linger of some sweet grain. Nice beer!

Tap at the brewery. Pours a very murky hazed muddy deed amber with spotty head and lace. Aroma is very juicy like the lilikoi, fruity esters, belgian yeast, spice, guava particles, tropical notes, passionfruit, kiwi, more clementine. Flavor is jackfruit- fleshy guava, gummy, fruit juice, gritty grain with fruit mix, kiwi, orange, citrus, medium toffee sweetness, belgian candi sugar, and a spicy juicy finish. Strange but not bad.

A: The pour is a dark amber color, sort of leaning towards brown, with a fairly long lasting off-white head.
S: A really great fruit aroma to this beer. Fresh guava that is slightly tart with oranges and passion fruit, maybe a bit of kiwi. Sweet candi sugar and slight spice notes.
T: The flavor is pretty good also (though not quite as great as the nose). Again, plenty of fruit character with the guava really coming through as well as a fair amount of malt. Some noticeable alcohol, too.
M: The body is medium with a fairly lively carbonation that pricks the tongue nicely.
D: It’s too bad the flavor didn’t quite match up with the nose, but enjoyable either way. This one was very pleasant indeed.

Wow! I would never have paired beer with guava. This is delicious. The fruit sticks to the tongue without being cloying. Easy to drink.

On tap. Pours with a very murky, amber brown body with an off-white head that stays. Aroma is, wow, lilikoi/passion fruit, gauva, caramel, candi sugar. Over powering fruit. Flavors are strong fruit, with a slightly soggy malt that left of the beer. Kind of detracts from the fruit. Decent sweetness. Nice tang. All fruit. Light clove. Lively bubbles.

On tap @ Avery. Man this is one ugly beer but the aroma absolutely draws you in! Milky tangerine color with a 1/2 ivory head that left a significant amount of webbing on the glass. Aroma blew me away. Bright guava, papaya, and mango in the nose. The tropical fruit influence is undeniable. Not really smelling or tasting the style. Flavor also shows Hawaii, Tahiti, and Fiji. Tastes more like a mixed drink than beer. Medium mouthfeel. Really interesting and appreciate the uniqueness.

draft. unappetizingly opaque orange, chunky appearance. mimosa-like nose: heavy citrus fruit (guava, grapefruit, mango, navel orange), medium+ alcohol (also contributes to the mimosa resemblance), medium+ body, chewy, heavy, fruity but finishes somewhat quiet. a citrus bomb.
